My personal notes: (be aware that this are my experiences in Victoria Garden. In other places in and around Redding, this plant can behave differently)

Erigeron karvinskianus (Santa Barbara Daisy) is a Californian native. It is a trailing groundcover and a tough plant. I would like to quote from californiagardens.com : "You can beat back with a stick, laugh at danger and it will bloom two weeks later. As long as I keep my shovel and pruners at the ready this is a great plant". I fully agree with that. It tries to take over my white border in the back yard and young plants are popping up everywhere. But they are easy to remove and it is such a nice little plant that flowers endlessly. Who would like to have one? just come to me and you can get a seedling any time! Bees love them and it is a real treat for a 'wild' garden.
